By letting our team of experts worry about bringing employees, interns, and fellows up to speed on technology and best practices, Derrick and his team saved hundreds of hours. Here’s his story in his own words:

    "I understand that onboarding new employees is incredibly important, but it isn’t the most important thing that I personally have to do. So as much as I love working with new employees, it’s great to be able to ‘outsource’ the initial training to Blackbaud University. We vary the classes we suggest based on the new hire’s responsibilities, but there are a few we recommend to everyone, like Introduction to Raiser’s Edge, Raiser’s Edge Fundamentals, and the Raiser’s Edge:Event classes. Once the new hires understand the basics of working in Raiser's Edge, it’s a lot easier to get them up to speed. And the whole time that they’re in ‘boot camp’ I can concentrate on other projects."
